Questions
How does FlightPickup calculate when I should leave?
We take the flight's latest arrival estimate, add a realistic allowance for the passenger to get off the plane and reach the kerbside, then subtract your traffic-aware driving time and a few minutes to get into the airport pickup area. What's left is the time you should set off.
Does it account for delayed flights?
Yes. We use the estimated arrival time rather than the scheduled one, and the recommendation updates while the page is open if that estimate moves.
Does it use live traffic?
Yes. Drive times come from a traffic-aware routing service using your starting point and the arrival airport. If that service is briefly unavailable we fall back to a standard estimate and say so on screen.
Do I need to know the flight number?
No. You can type something like “Ibiza to Manchester around 11:15 tonight” and we'll show you the real matching flights to pick from. The flight number is faster if you have it.
Does FlightPickup store my location?
No. Your location is sent once to work out your drive time and is not saved to any database. We don't send coordinates to analytics either.

Yes, FlightPickup is free to use. There's no account and no sign-up.
